About the role
Join ClientEarth as an IT Assistant and bring your skills to a pioneering, international organisation using the power of law to protect the planet and drive systemic change. As an IT professional, you won’t just be solving technical problems; you will be enabling people who are making a real-world difference everyday.
You will be part of a collaborative global IT team supporting over 300 staff across multiple countries. The incumbent will report to an IT Manager in Brussels, and work closely with colleagues in London, Brussels, Beijing, and Warsaw, playing a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations - from user support and hardware repairs to onboarding, procurement, and system maintenance. This is a London-based role, requiring 4 days a week in the office and 1 remote working day. Flexibility to work shifts will also be required to support our international teams.
Meet your Manager
In this role, You will be managed by our IT Manager, Khadija Ndiaye, who joined ClientEarth in 2022 and is based in Brussels. Khadija brings over 15 years of IT experience across multiple sectors, which has given her a solid and diverse background.
Main Duties
- End-User Support: Provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
- Hardware Repairs & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues with laptops, AV system, and peripherals.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Set up IT access for new employees and ensure smooth IT transitions when employees leave.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve IT issues, ensuring a high level of user satisfaction.

Role requirements
- Fluent (CEFR level C2) in English
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve IT issues efficiently
- Familiarity with IT procurement, hardware repair, and user support.
- Ability to document IT processes and maintain structured records.

This position will be based in London. The postholder will be required to be in the office 4 days a week, with 1 remote working day per week.
